Sony has received a good reception thanks to a gaming console system that many have fallen in love with. There is however a defict in the number of games and developers of the various games and applications need to come up with stuff that will exploit the full potential of this system.
The ps4 has an eye catching system that is irrestible. The sleek profile won’t be missed at a glance and its speaks of the elegance that is expected of modern high tech devices. The ps4 box is small in size and it has clean lines that extend upto the thin LED strip which has been designed to display the power status. The sense of minimalism can be picked from the capacitative buttons which are flush on the front of this system but these can be quite tricky when one wants to activate the system.
The system of the ps4 has two 3.0 USB ports which will enable you to charge the ps4 controller, stream some music from an external source, for instance a USB storage device as well as save games on the USB storage device. In this system you won’t find the non-digital ports as Sony chose to do away with these. You will only be able to find the HDMI video/ audio output, the SPDIF is meant for surround sound audio, a jack for the ps4 camera as well as a gigabit Ethernet port. You will find it a bit hard to access the ports at the back due to the trapezoid shape of the system.
The ps4 fan and the ps4 cooling stand maintain the whole system cool for a relatively longer time. But in some devices users have complained that the PlayStation 4 fan produces a slight sound during quite instances in games and movies. But overrally the ps4 fan is far much better than the last generation ones.
There is also a 1.6GHz CPU that comprises of two quad-core modules and 8 GBs of GDDR5 memory. This is able to power the quick and fast Operating System and the various application that can be used on the ps4. It is good to note that the graphics are far much better than the generation ones. There is also an 500 GB hard drive that is expandable. Lastly there is an 802.11a/b/g/n wifi which is fast enough for an average broadband connection.
