Rewarding Preorder Deals

This post may just push our objectivity over the edge, but I promise we don't work for Best Buy nor are they sending us any money. Bill has been sharing some of the fantastic Sunday ad deals BB has been offering (I picked up Singularity for $9.99 and Bulletstorm for $4.99 this week) and now I join in the fun with a recent discovery in my email box courtesy from none other than... Well, you know.

Best Buy is offering $20 Reward Zone cash for preordering and then of course buying and picking up any of the following titles:

  • NCAA Football 13
  • Madden Football 13
  • Far Cry 3
  • FIFA Soccer 13
  • Borderlands 2
  • Resident Evil 6
  • NBA 2K13
  • Dishonored
  • Medal of Honor: Warfighter
  • Assassin's Creed 3
  • Halo 4
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

First off, I'd like to officially retract my previous comments in this post. Secondly, an important catch. There's always a catch, right? In order to qualify for this deal you have to be a member of Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked]. Unlike Best Buy's Reward Zone, membership to the Unlocked Club is not free. It will cost you $14.99 per year and includes, among other things, a crappy magazine.

Back on point, I may have to increase my membership to the Unlocked status as doing so should net me $5.01 after taking advantage of just one preordered game in the above list. I see two titles up there that I plan to buy anyway - Borderlands 2 & Halo 4.
